TAGGED !!!!!
Good Afternoon Friends--
We have been celebrating a birthday this weekend and
that is why I haven't posted for a bit. (In a later post)
Now on to today's business--as my title says I've been
TAGGED by Georgie at Decisionally Challenged.
At first I was a bit confused by this but after mulling
it over for awhile I THINK I have it down pat now.
Rules of the game----
---Link to the person who tagged you.
---Post the rules on your blog.
---Write six random things about yourself.
---Tag six people at the end of your post and
link to them.
---Let each person know they've been tagged
and leave a comment on their blog.
---Let the blogger know when your post entry
is up on your site.
My Random Quirks---
***I sleep in socks year round! I'm not a barefoot
kind of gal most often.
***I love, love, love potato chips with my toast.
***I DO NOT like liver, turnips, parsnips or what
I like to call "yard waste " salad greens.
***I'm with the rest of you ICE lovers--IT ROCKS
except in milk.
***Mr Ken and I met via my then friend- now sister-
in-law and her husband-Mr. Ken's brother.
***I have a butterfly tattoo on my right shoulder.
It was a birthday present when I turned 45!

Hi Melinda. Aaaaaahhhh! I never understand these "tag" thingies, so I never do them. I'm always afraid I'm going to do it "wrong". But, I like your random quirks...potato chips with toast??!! That's just plain weird, kind of like the fact that one of my favorite sandwiches is banana, peanut butter and mayo on raisin bread! :P
ReplyDeleteMelinda, welcome to the world of blogging!! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a lovely comment. I am happy to hear that you visit and enjoy my blog. I am honored to be tagged by you, but after blogging for a while I have decided to be a tag free blog. After time it can really take up "much" of your time if you start getting tagged frequently! You'll see!! But as a beginner, it is fun and we love to hear about you!!!!! Can't do socks year round here in TX....too hot! Have fun blogging. Nice to meet you :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun this country farm chick can have with this. I see we share the sock fetish. I am also a middle school retired Special Ed. instructor who lives on a working farm and has compulsive tendencies toward flower gardens and cleaning, lovin' eight grandchildren, keeping up with aging parents...RETIRED??? Ya'll, as we say here in the Ozarks, have a wonderfully blessed school year and enjoy the day!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by and leaving your kind comments!
I have considered getting an additional endorsement on my Masters (it's pretty generic...M.S. in Curriculum Instruction from Emporia) in the area of SPED. What's your honest opinion? I've also considered ESL and School Counseling...so many loves...so little time!
Where are you located? We live in De Soto (12 miles east of Lawrence) and I taught for Olathe. Honestly miss teaching, but not as much as I missed being home with my little ones!!! (I've only been home for one year and Mary turned 5 last week!) :(
BTW...I am not MO born, but most definitely MO bred! Grew up outside of STL and went to MU. Have a hard time living so close to KU...LOL!
Blessings to you,
Valerie
Hi Melinda. I just posted an answer to you on my blog, then started thinking "ohoh, what if she doesn't check back?" So here I am again. I tell you, if I were a little wind-up toy, I'd keep going in circles, hitting the wall!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I do have a recipe for Chocolate Zucchini Cake with Chocolate Icing. If you want that, I'll send it to you either thru email or blog comments, whichever way you prefer. Let me know. Hope your Monday is a good one!
Great job on your 6things meme/tag...chips and toast...interesting i will have to try that
ReplyDeleteIf you need help linking the people you tagged let me know...you can reply to this comment via email(my email is attached to all comments)
BAHAHAHAHAHA I love making my hubby wear crazy hats on his birthday. I hadn't heard of that restaurant-- how cool is that? My husband turned 47 last year:)
