Well friends, here we are hours away
from Christmas.
Some are also celebrating Hanukkah.

Even with all we have done this month,
I am actually ahead of the game! Mr.
Ken, well... though he is farther
than normal on this day.

Good Tuesday afternoon from
the land of ill. I am doing better
but it is still visiting and as far
as I am concerned it can leave!

Cut a square from the cardstock,
then cut two slits in the cardstock
that are the width of the ribbon.
Thread the ribbon through the
cardstock and tie it around the
napkin.

Yes, I am still around and I hope
you are too!!!
It is that time of year--so much
going on.
As most of you know, yesterday
was "Giving Tuesday." The day
that we are asked to "give" to
our favorite charity.
Today I would like to suggest
other recipients for our giving
this holiday season.
Animal shelters--old towels and
blankets
Women's shelters--toiletries,
women's and children's clothing.
Plus size clothing for women is
usually in high need, books and
art supplies for the kids. Please
check with your local shelter
for their "needs" list.
Homeless shelters-Again
check with those in our
area for their particular
needs.
Usually clothes, socks
shoes and toiletries are
a high need.
Local libraries usually have
book donation drop offs
Check with your local
child care centers and
elementary schools to
see what they are in
need of.
Small centers usually
are in need of art
supplies and classroom
supplies etc.
Last but not least---
Those RED KETTLES
that are seen all over at
this time of year.
Mr.Ken and I get the biggest
kick out of dropping our dollars
into the kettles we see.
If you are feeling really generous
buy the bell ringer a cup of coffee
or hot chocolate, they'll appreciate
it-especially if it cold.
Take the time to give when and
where you can. Someone you
don't know will thank you!!!!

Some of our traditions are:
*Looking at the lights around
the city and our neighbordhood.
*Sending Christmas cards.
*Ken buys me a specific
ornament each year.
*We pick Christmas angels and
buy gifts for them. This year it
is a family at my school.
*When we see a Red Kettle we
always try to put a little some-
thing in it.
*Watch--White Christmas.
Everyone celebrates differently
and that is part of the fun.
