Woohoo! Guess what?
It is Dreaming's
4th Anniversary!!
Beware--long post
that's ok-cause it
is time to celebrate!
Mr. Ken asked me the
other day if when I
started this adventure
if I knew where it would
go. Of course none of
knows where we will go
with our blogs.
Back in the beginning,
I thought "would anyone
come by?,be an avid
reader?,what about
followers?"
Here we are 4 years
later and I have 120
followers,over 600
posts,and over 75,000
page views.
This is a blog for FUN
and do we have fun? Oh
yea! Throw in some
recipes,some DIYs,a
little triva, some arts
and crafts plus the
places we have gone.Fun
YEA!!!
Dreaming isn't going to
be THE MOST POPULAR BLOG
in blogland and I am ok
with that. I am having
fun AND that is the
important thing. As most
of you know this started
as a distracion for me
and boy can it be that!!
Looking here and looking
there.
There are the challenges,
the frustrations (blogger)
and THE constant CHANGES
but we keep going cause it
is fun!!!! Right??? :)
One of THE BEST parts
of blogging is meeting
fellow bloggers.
This is Valerie from
Her Little Ways.We
met for lunch the
first time.She was
pregnant with her
sweet little Luke!
Several months later,
Mr Ken and I were
invited to Valerie's
lovely home for dinner.
At that time we also
got to meet her husband
Chris and their great
kids Mary, Ben and little
Luke. It has been so much
fun to see them grow up.
We had a great time.
Thanks Valerie!!
This is Mary Ann from
Calamity Acres.We got
to meet at the T-Bones
game.(They are our
minor league ball team)
She and her husband
Keith happened to be at
the same game we were
going to, so we made
plans to meet and greet.
Very much fun!
Mary Ann invited us
to her lovely home.
She had some goodies
for me.Lots of scrap-
booking and craft items
plus she gave us some
goodies from her garden!
We had a great time seeing everything that goes on
at their hobby farm. They
have added a lot and
changed some things since
our visit. Seeing those
changes has been fun too.
Recently we met briefly,
Mary Ann had some cook-
books that she no longer
wanted. GOOSEBERRY PATCH
cookbooks! We met so that
she could give them to me!
Oh boy, yea!
You can see them on my
kitchen shelf. See posts
two or three ago.
Thanks!
Mary Ann.
In early June, I met
this lovely woman for
"coffee" but we both
had tea. :) Her name
is Karen and you can
find her at Elderberry
Street.
She is originally from
Kansas,the same area
that I live in but now
she lives in sunny
California with her
husband Ken. Yes, she
has a Ken too. We got
a kick out of both
husbands being named Ken.
Her grown daughters still
live in the area as do
her parents so they come
often for visits.
We had a delightful time!
Hopefully when she
is back in town we can get together again.
Thanks Karen for a fun
visit!
PS--I borrowed this photo
from her blog because we
were so busy chatting that
no pics were taken. Imagine
that!
Onward and upward as
they say. Come back
soon and often to see
what kinds of fun
and craziness happens
in the upcoming year
here at Dreaming!
Thanks for all of your
love and support over
the last 4 years!
YOU make it fun!!!!!
~Keep on Dreaming~
Happy 10th! I, too, wondered where blogging would take me and have loved the trip!!
