This evening my wonderfulhusband took me to dinner
at one of my favorites----
Cheddar's!
As we were eating, a storm
came in from the east,
as it rained the sun started
to come out in the west and
we got to see this beautiful
scene.
One of the neatest things
was--that it was actually
a whole rainbow not just
part of one! Ken went out-
side and took the pictures.
This picture is looking east
with the end in the north.
I have see a lot of rainbows
but I can't remember seeing
a whole one before.
Very fun!

Magical isn't it? I have seen many and I have also seen double rainbows which take your breath away. I'm so glad you got to enjoy this moment.

It's unusual to see a whole one. I love how everyone stops to look at rainbows and point them out. One of those things that brings people together. It sounds like you had a special evening!
ReplyDeleteYou captured the brilliant colors in that rainbow beautifully. It reminded me of the time my cousins and I spotted a whole rainbow in Albuquerque against the Sandia Mountains and my Uncle Tom loaded us up to try to find the end of it and the pot of gold! I loved that guy! :o)

ReplyDeleteMy favorite rainbow is one I saw over Paris. It's many years ago, but it still stands out for me. Last one was over Brooklyn this summer.
