Some of the simple things I enjoy are.....
1--Summer Break from school---4 1/2 days
with kids left!
2--Reading a good book.
3--Taking a walk outside.
4--A delicious glass of iced tea.
5--Summer salads.
6--Quiet time after work.
7--Visiting my blog friends.
8--Listening to the birds sing.
9--A gentle rain ( but we've had enough :0)
10--Of course spending time with Mr. Ken!
I'm sure I could think of many more but.......

ReplyDeleteI enjoy puttering around my garden, watchin' the birds nest, the amazement of the humming birds and runnin' barefoot through the grass with the grandkiddos. Gee...only 4 1/2 days w/o children....woohoo!

Great list! My kids have one week left til summer break. My favorite simple things for summer include eating our meals outside on the back porch, slow start in the mornings, and good summer reads!
ReplyDeleteSitting on the terrace having my breakfast watching the birds enjoy their breakfast ... the buzzing of the bees & busy garden animals ... the warmth of the sun ... the quiet of the morn ... BUT ... my favorite thing in life are my kid-lings & the immense joy they bring me.
