Good ol' reliable Vinegar.
You either love or hate it.
Here are some other ways to
use it besides in your potato
salad.
1. Keep Flowers Alive
Add 2 Tbsp and 2 Tbsp
sugar to your water.
Change after a couple of
days--helps keep the
flowers nourished.
2. Give Your hair a Boost
Mix 1 C distilled water and
and 1/4 c vinegar, pour over
freshly washed hair. Let sit for
15-30 seconds, rinse with cool
water. This helps with product
buildup and adds shine to our
lovely locks.
3. Pull Up Candle Wax
To get rid of drips, saturate
a cloth with vinegar, then
place over the spot and
apply light pressure for a
few minutes. The vinegar
will break down the residue
without harming the surface.
4. Buff Leather Furniture
For a hydrating conditioner,
shake together equal parts
vinegar and boiled linseed
oil. Dab onto a soft cloth
and apply to leather in a
circular motion. After 10
minutes, rub away with a
clean dry cloth.
5. For Those Who Want
To Have Fun--An
Experiment*
On a baking tray, place a
tall clear glass.
Pour some baking soda in
the glass.
Pour some vinegar and in
and watch what happens.
You can add food coloring
if you are brave.
