A Day to Remember

Tomorrow is Patriot Day.

Please take a moment in
your day to remember
those who have loved and
lost, those that we did
lose and the first
responders.

I remember where I was
on this day. Do you?

  1. I certainly do remember where I was. I was at my mom's and my youngest daughter walked in and told us that a plane had just hit one of the towers. Sad, sad day!
I love this Country....the good ol' USA

  2. Oh Melinda, thinking of that day still makes me shiver. My daughter and I were watching TV here in England and watched the second plane crash. We couldn't believe what we were seeing and were so upset. Our eldest son at just 20 had just gone out to work for an industrial year from University at CAT in Peoria, Ill. and we were so worried for him too. It is so hard to believe that human beings(if you can call them that) can do this to others. The doors of Heaven must have been very busy that day, all those brave people. xxx

    1. Even after 12 years I still shiver remembering
      that day.
I am sure God and his angels were very
      busy that day.
I bet it was a tough day for your family.

  3. I was six blocks south of the WTC in my office. I remember so many details about the day. The years don't make it easy, but it is easier. I'm not sure a day with so much tragedy can ever be easy.
