These sites will give you info
on gardens in your areas that
are participating tomorrow.
The best part is it is FREE!!!!
Go check these out and take a
walk in a garden near YOU!
On a different note: I wanted
to show you what my students
made for their Mom's. "Rag"
wreaths.
I provided small hoops and
fabric which I cut into strips.
With the help of an adult, each
child help tie the fabric to the
hoops. They did a great job!
What a clever idea, Melinda. Will have to show our kid-lings how to do this.

Oh do I ever remember those 'student' projects!!! Some we were knee deep in to make the deadline of the occasion. The moms are gonna love those very special wreaths sweetie!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo...National Public Garden Day, I could get into that! Even though I live smack in the middle of nowhere I've had folks stop and want to see my flower gardens...does that make mine public? Heeehehehee!
God bless ya sweetie and have a delightful day!!! :o)
So glad you keep me up to date on all the "special" holidays. I just visited the rose garden last weekend so I will try to get pictures ready to post for tomorrow. It all takes longer without Picnik, so hopefully I have enough time to get the photos ready.
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute..I love seeing kids use their artistic abilities...Thanks for helping them...
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted to celebrate Public Gardens Month. We have a community garden a couple of blocks from my house and I enjoy going there and sitting among the flowers right in the middle of the city. Take good care!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Let me know how I can help.
ReplyDeleteGreat project!
ReplyDeleteThose wreaths are going to be a big hit with the moms, and something that they will always cherish.
Love that public gardens are celebrating...just in time for Mother's Day!!
Mom's and flowers usually go hand in hand :)
Have a great weekend, and a happy Mother's Day!
Very cute idea. I bet the Moms loved them!
