Last Saturday went took a drive to
Garnett, Ks--a small town west of
where we live. They were having a
"Fair on the Square."
The Courthouse---booths and vendors
were on the west and north sides of
it.
Pretty flowers for sale.
Musical entertainment.
A booth greeter.
A lovely vendor--check out her hat!!
Isn't this a cute way to display
rain boots? LOVE IT!
Pretty fountain.
Time is standing still.

Goodies from the fair---a wallet for Ken,
a necklace for me, a magnet, a crown, a
bee keychain, and homemade noodles!
Sauces from Josephine's. Ken loves
his sauces!
Fun things from the fabric store.
A needle guide, a file, fabric piece
and bobbins-metal ones!!!! What
fun.
Here I am modeling my new apronfrom the fair.
It was a beautiful day, cool in the
morning and warm in the early
afternoon. Enjoyed a lunch of
burgers, nachos and tea by the
Lions group.
We almost made it home when
the rain began. Great fun for us.

That sounds like a fun day! Isn't Garnett the town with the wood people sculptures all around the courthouse? OR maybe I'm getting it mixed up with another place.
