A little background for some
of you.
Two years ago Mr. Ken was laid
off from the job that he had been
doing for 20 years!!! This brought
stress, fear, anxiety and a lot of
sleeplees nights, we spent a year
looking and being rejected for job
after job.
Many prayers were said by family
and friends and Mr. Ken was able
to obtain what we thought would
be a great opportunity. This was
ALSO about the time that Mr.
Ken came down with a blood
clot in his leg and we also found
out he had kidney stones.
Needless to say holding a job was
hard to say the least and his very
uncompassionate boss let him go!
We were back on the roller coaster
from you know where. Back to
hunting and being rejected---
he did have more interviews this
go around though. This phase has
gone on for almost another year!
**********************************
To save gas, Mr. Ken has been taking
and picking me up from work.
I got in the car today as usual to go
home and after we had visited for a
moment Mr. Ken passed me his phone.
On the screen was an email stating
that the company he had interviewed
with several times and said company
had requested permission for a
background check and drug screening
was offering HIM A JOB!!!!!!!!!!
***************************************
More prayers have been said by family
and friends AND now they have been
answered!!!!
My husband is GOING BACK TO WORK!
No start date yet but soon.
******************************************
If this seems to ramble, please forgive
me---I am soooooooooo excited!
I am also sooooo very proud of my
husband and how he has handled
all this stress, rejection, fear and
anxiety. He has been a trooper!!
I am also VERY proud of both of
us--we still have our house, both
vehicles, bills are up to date AND
the very best item----WE ARE STILL
MARRIED. We are tough and have
made it through a tough 2 years.
NOW we can start fresh with a new
month, a relatively new year and
a brand NEW JOB!!!!
YEA!!! Praise God!!!
Thanks for bearing with me on
this very long post but I just
had to share our wonderful
news with our blog friends !!!

Whoo HOo!! Back at ya!! That is some wonderful news!! Congrats to Ken, and so happy for both of you. I truly know what this means as hubs lost his nearly-30 year job in 2008.. and it was a loooong time before he finally found one. A new line of work for him, but it's turned out to be a blessing in a lot of ways. God truly does work in mysterious, but wonderful ways. Bless both of you... so happy!! -Tammy
