We Did It!!!

Thursday Thoughts... Well, we did it! We made some Valentine's for some kids that need a little cheering up. These are the one's that Leslie and her daughter from : http://A Little Spoonful/ . They made quite a few very cute and creative cards for the kids. Aren't the ladybugs adorable? Here we are--I gathered all my supplies so I could start creating.
The creative process has
begun. I decided to make
my cards look like
"conversation hearts."
These are the finished product.
I thought they came out really
cute!

I know the kids will LOVE them!
She also made a beautiful pink
sequin and pearl heart ornament.
Forgot a pic--it's really pretty

Mr. Ken and I delivered them
yesterday to one of the eight
drop-off sites so they could
be picked up and delivered
to the hospital on Monday.

    Well here's sendin' a great big CONGRATULATIONS on your 300th post. Do ya hear the marchin' band and fanfare that's goin' on in my head for ya right now??? :o)

    I'm just thrilled you received some cards for these wonderful kiddos. Our mail is beginnin' to run again...sporadic but anything is better that nothin'!

    Oh Melinda I am so sorry that I missed creating Valentines for those sweet children. I waited to long to read the post on your blog. I would have loved to participate!! I am so glad that you were able to bring such happiness to those in need.

    I am so glad that we could help with the cards. It was truly a "moment". Your cards looked great ~ I bet that the kids loved them all. The little heart was for you for being so thoughtful. I picked it up at Michael's.
    Congrats on the 300th post. WTG!!!
    Hope that you and Mr Ken had a sweet Valentines.
