As I was taking this picture, I could feel the wind on
my hands and face. It was a cool breeze which got
warmer as the day went on.
SIGHT...
Today we needed a pair of these...
Because we were the recipients of this...
Smell...
Ken and I stopped in one of our favorite bakeries
today---The Clock Tower Bakery. It is located
in downtown Overland Park, Ks. They sell a wide
variety of YUMMIES. You can see from above
that the Snickerdoodles are HUGE, they have
cupcakes--we bought two Red Velvet ones and
two cinnamon puffs. The SMELLS wafting from
the open kitchen draw you in and before you know
it you're at the counter ordering. They have pizza
too. :)
Hearing...
of the chimes could be heard all around the
deck.
What were your senses up to today?
~Keep on Dreaming~
Oh this is such a lovely post!!! I love this idea. Those red velvet cupcakes ---YUMMMMM!!! My Grandma used to bake the best red velvet cakes with a fluffy white icing. Ok so now I am hungry for cake :)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend

Oh baby that's one big snickerdoodle cookie! Girl the box of goodies are drawin' me toward the screen.
ReplyDeleteLovely post dear, I could almost feel the senses! I am sensing the sunshine dancing through my windows, the birds singin' LOUDLY in my yard, the smell of the dryer sheets in the dryer and the hummmmmm of the blower in my fireplace. Ahhhh, it's hard to believe it's suppose to snow tomorrow.
God bless and have a fabulous Friday!!!
I could use those sun glasses. It's actually SUNNY here today. And beautiful. I am thrilled!

YUM to those cupcakes!!! My husband brought me one last night with white chocolate shavings on top - which from your photo looks like what's on top of your red velvet one. SO YUM! The brand he bought me was called "Cupcake Couture"! That's the fanciest named cupcake I've ever had :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice posting today. Creative. Love your blog.
