Day Nine of the Twelve Days...
On this ninth day of Christmas--- I felt
like June Cleaver. Trying to do as many
things possible before I go back to school
tomorrow!
Today was spent getting things organized,
going to the store, finishing the laundry and
all the others things that needed to be done.
Now I did do stuff over the break BUT some
stuff got put off. Time has a way of getting
away from you. I soooo could use ONE more
day but then I'd want another and then
another.
One of the things I want to accomplish this
year is getting back to being the organized
person I used to be. Somewhere last year I
lost those organizational skills. Time
management is another important thing
I want to regain.
I WILL prevail and accomplish these AND
many other things this year because IT IS
SO IMPORTANT to ME.
Thank you for your patience with this post
and thanks for listening!
Edited---This is NOT how I typed this post!

'Morning Melinda...I hope you have a good day back-at-school today. I'm guessing that you're like me...we have a good job, work with good people, enjoy the kids, but there's just something wonderful about being home. :)
ReplyDeleteAll I know is that I just can't wait to get home today and put my slippers back on! :)
Being organized is always a challenge, but always makes me feel so much better. Seems like a constant challenege at times doesn't?
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week back at school. Stay WARM my friend, we're in for a doozie this week! A high of 2 on Friday! Yikes!
Hugs, Nancy
Have a great day back at school! I too wish to become more organized this year. Great goal.

Oh, my house, except for my scrapbooking room, is such a disorganized mess! I need to start chopping away at re-organizing it. But time spent cleaning is time not spent blogging or scrapbooking, which I like to do more.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words on my blog on a difficult day.
ReplyDeleteNever enough hours in the day, are there? I need to organize my office/sewing room. It's a disaster right now.
Ahhh, so little time and so much stuff. I sounds like ya'll had quite the productive day!
ReplyDeleteGod bless and rest dear girl!!!
well it's hard to be organised on the long term! I did some cleaning after everybody has left...But now the ironing is waiting for me!!! have a good day catherine
ReplyDeleteGot your Christmas Card today. :) Made me smile, smile, smile. Thanks for thinking about me! Hope your day back to work was fun!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the organization! I too love to be super organized (my fellow co-workers said that I had a sickness b/c my classroom was so neat and clean!), but that ability has really gotten away from me since I quit work.
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, when I thought I would be even more super-organized b/c I have all the time in the world, I have found the exact opposite to occur. Seems as if we are constantly living in chaos around here and it is driving me nuts.
One of the reasons is Fisher Price...I swear if my kids didn't get another toy until adoclescence it would be too soon! My kids don't even know what they have. Thus my need to SIMPLIFY. I plan on putting toys away and creating a rotation calender so that we actually use and appreciate the gifts that they have been given.
Hope your first day back went well...in service? Classroom prep? Or students? I never know with SMSD!
Wishing you all the best this work week,
Val
I wishes I lived close by...I love to organize and would be glad to help you!
ReplyDeleteMelinda, You put the BIGGEST smile on my face today when my husband returned from the mailbox with a New Years Card from you...oh my goodness...I was overjoyed! Thank you so much, my friend. Especially after being down with the flu...it truly made my day...in fact...my month ...ok my year! You are the sweetest!
Most Fondly, Carrie :)
It is really very nice and cute post. At that time we were waiting for the New year and the new year have came now. Enjoy 2010 and happy new year...

My goal is to get organized again, too. I have to keep changing up my plan as my family grows and changes, and my own activities change. Here's to 2010 being a good year!
