Hello!
Here's what has been going on in our
world. We are in the process of tearing
down our deck! This was the roof.
Roof gone!
Albino squirrel playing in the scraps from
the tear down.
Northeast walls came down this past week-
end!
This is what is left plus floor braces for the
walls. In the spring we will start a new with
a freshly buffed floor and new stain then we
will build a new railing aprox 42' high.
THEN we will begin painting the
house. Oh boy!
This is my cousin-in-law fulfilling one of
the things on her bucket list. She said it
was AWESOME.
Though not for me!
Fun at school, melting crayons on a
pumpkin.
Annual Chili Fest Fireworks.
It was a chilly evening for Chili fireworks
but it was so fun.
We went to one of the last ball games of
the season. KC didn't have a great year
but we had fun supporting
the team.
More fun at school--bobbing for apples.
This is my co-teacher.
Stacking apples after reading
Ten Apples Up On Top.
One of my students spinning me
around--pinning apples on a tree.
That's what is going on besides the
daily goings on.

It's late, but I wanted to pop by to say
that I am still here. Life has gotten
a bit hectic and I haven't had time
to devote to my little blog.
I hope someone is still out there
waiting for me to post!
I plan to post within the next day or
so.
Thanks for your patience!

Hello!
Well, I can't believe we have fresh new
month ALREADY!! Seems like we just
started September.
If you missed my last post with Pumpkin
recipes, please scroll down.
It has still been warm here, do we still
call this "Indian summer?" Temps
should begin to fall later in the week
but we are to have RAIN again!
October is one of my favorite months
because:
*The season changes to cooler weather.
*Cozy clothes come out and the summer
stuff goes away for awhile.
*Soups, stews and comfort food is served
at meals.
*Fall colors-oranges, yellows, reds, and
browns are often seen. Our trees aren't
changing yet but soon.
* I have my costume decided on for
Halloween at school. A Bumblebee
Emoji.
*Fall fests and craft shows are all over
around here. Love them!
*Lighting the fire pit and hanging out
around it is so soothing.
What do you enjoy doing in October?
