A,B,C, 1,2,3

E is for:

Education--

Those of you that have been with me for
awhile probably guessed E for education.

It is my jam as the saying goes.

I have been in the field for over 30 years!
From Preschool, Pre-K, Early Childhood
Special  Ed to Elementary Special Ed.

The end of last year and this year have
been some of the toughest times. Never in
my life would I have expected to teach from
home! Thankfully this school year, remote
happened three times due to weather but
other than that we have been face to face
since we started back in the Fall.

I have been so impressed with our kids
dealing with all the different changes.
Wearing masks for 7 hrs a day minus
eating and drinking.  They do a great job
keeping them with reminders sometimes.
The masks are very hard to teach in but we
have plugged right along. Another change
for us was that our whole dept was moved
to a new building in the middle of a pandemic,
so learning a new building and staff complete
with masks on has been a ride.

Hoping for a "normal" year next year, but we'll
see what plays out.

If know a teacher, pat them on the back. It has
not been easy at all! (Not digging for complements
here)

F is up next.

Can You Smell Them??

D is for:

Daffodils

Our local grocery floral department
had these for Easter. Picked up two
bunches. One for us and one for our
neighbor.

They are a favorite cause they just
say "SPRING." Plus they are so
bright, cheerful and pretty. As I write
this, there is such a nice smell wafting
from them.

According to Wikipedia, they are a
genus of the Narcissus. I didn't know
this. There are OVER 13,000
distinct Daffodil varieties.

Mine are Trumpet Daffodils. Love
them!

E is on the agenda for the next
post.

I Have Something in Common with a Puppet

Can you guess what it is?

C is for:

Cookies--

I LOVE cookies, homemade ones, bakery
made ones, ones from other people and
yes, even store bought ones.

Some of my faves are Chocolate Chip
(of course), Snickerdoodles at Christmas,
Sugar cookies. I also enjoy Oreos, Chips
Ahoy, Vienna Fingers, Sugar Wafers,
I could go on.

Now what I am about to tell you may
have you scratching your head but
right now I have a BIG thing for
the three pack at Mickey D's. They
are usually warm and gooey. I may
share them with Mr. Ken and then
again sometimes I don't. Ha! Usually
I eat one and save the other two for
my lunches IF I don't share with
you know who.

What kind of cookies do you like??

Letter D is next up.

The Little Blog that Could

B is for:

Blog--

I chose my little blog because
it is so much a part of me as
anything else. It tells many
stories.
As you can tell by the picture
above I equate my blog to the
Little Engine that Could.
Sometimes it goes really well
and and then it stops for a bit,
then takes off again.
Most of you know the story behind
Dreaming. I started blogging when
Mr. Ken was laid off. Blogging gave
me something to focus on other than
the fact that we were a one income
family and how long was this going
to last.
Fast forward to today, I continue to
blog because I enjoy it and have
enjoyed meeting everyone that I
have over the years. Blogging has
changed A LOT since I started other
social media have taken the spotlight
and many don't blog anymore, I miss
those that have moved on but I
will keep going just like that little
train.

Come by for C.
