Last Friday we took our annual
trip to our favorite sunflower farm.
We have learned that going in the
evening is much better than going
during the day. This field is their
smaller field located behind the
General Store.
Their larger field had some issues
blooming due to excessive rain that
washed the seeds away. Farmer Ted
had to replant the larger field and it
was just beginning to bloom.
Enjoy!
Last Sunday we our trip took us to
a neighboring city to see their newly
built lake and activity areas. This will
be a busy place next summer. They
have a beach, a marina, an event venue,
an area for outdoor music, a splashpad
for the kids. trails for walking and
biking, several picnic shelters, waterfalls
and pretty flowers.
Hope you enjoyed our trips.
