G--German
German cuisine varies from region
to region and shares dishes from
city to city.
If you are like we are, our German
restaurants vary also. We have three
in the Kansas City area . One has a
more Austrian influence but with a
German aspect too. The other two
are strictly German in what they
serve.
Just remembered we also have a
deli nearby that serves authentic
German fare.
German foods that I like are:
Schnitzel
Spätzle
Hot German Potato Salad
Apple Strudel
Stollen
Are you a fan of German food, if
so what do you like?
~Keep on Dreaming~
Yes, I love German food! We lived in the little town of Oberheid, Germany for a while. Kind of funny their potato salad is about like our German potato salad, only it's served cold over there. The schnitzel is to die for. Oh my!!! Good German restaurants in Chicago too, and a few here in the burbs. Good post, Melinda!!!

There aren't many German restaurants in our area. I grew up on Stollen at Christmas time, and my grandmother's Hot German Potato Salad. My dad's family is German.
ReplyDeleteYes, Mr. Ken loves Stollen.
ReplyDeleteBoth of us have German in us.
Hope you are enjoying the series.
