Yummy for the Tummy
Welcome to our Easter table.
Today for Sunday Savor I
am going to share a recipe
that everyone enjoyed. It
was a new recipe too!
So pull up a chair and
relax.
Red Asian Slaw
12 # Red Cabbage
2 Medium Onions
3 C Sugar or Splenda
2 C Soy Sauce
3 C Apple Cider Vinegar
1 1/2 C Brown Sesame Oil
3 T Siracha
2 tsp celery seed
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Chop cabbage and onions medium fine.
(I chopped mine a little bigger.)
Mix the last eight ingredients together
and add the cabbage, onion mixture to it.
Let sit, gets better with time. I made
mine early in the am and served it
in the afternoon. YUM!
**This is a recipe from one of our fave
BBQ restaurants. I asked if I could have
the recipe and they gave it to me!!!
I believe this will make a lot so I cut the
recipe in half and had just the right amount
for six people.
My bottle of Sesame Oil was not very big,
I had just enough though. You might try
to find a bigger bottle if one is made.
If you make this let me know what you
think.

Sounds good, but I don't know what Siracha is. Otherwise, it sounds good AND healthy. (I've been eating healthier since the new year.)
