Did you make the bulletin board???!!! Great job! Worked with a special needs kiddo this morning to put up an art display. That's the thing...those kiddos grow up to become teens and then young adults. "Kate" helped me to take a step back from my work and see the beauty in the art display...regardless of how the art was actually displayed. The perfectionist in me kept wanting to "fix" how she was hanging the work...and then I realized how unimportant that was! When parents arrive for the Spring Musical tonight, they are going to be thrilled with seeing their child's beautiful creations. Not at all stopping to consider whether or not the art is "artfully" displayed. Kate was a godsend and my only helper...besides the 2-year old. ;)
I so love the way you wrote this. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well your way & spring has arrived ...

ReplyDeleteHugs!!!
Yes I did do the bulletin board.
DeleteOur kids made the "kite" as a group
project.
Sometimes we as adults DO have to step
back and let things happen as they will.
This can be very hard for a lot of us.:)
