A Bouquet for You

Here is a fun craft for you to do.

I received this rose bouquet for
Valentine's Day from one of my
students. Her Mom made one for
each of us.

These would be great for any
holiday table. For Easter use
pastel cellophane or plastic wrap.

Supplies:

Hershey's Kisses in foils to match
your theme
Florist tape Safe confectioners' glue
Artificial leaves (optional)
Florist wire
Ribbon
Clear cellophane or plastic wrap

Instructions:

1. For each candy rose, spread the
glue on the bottom of one of the
kisses. Firmly press the bottom of
another kiss to it.
2. Insert foil wire into the pointed
end of one of the kisses. Wrap a 4
inch square of cellophane around
the candies, twisting tightly around
the chocolate.
3. Starting at the bottom of a rose,
wrap florist tape around the edges
for the cellophane, continuing down
the full length of wire with tape. Add
leaves, if desired, securing leaves in
place with tape.
4. Tie two or more roses together
with a bow or make small bouquets.
Mine has 6 roses to it.
COMPLETED CRAFT IS FOR
DECORATIVE PURPOSE ONLY AND
CANDY SHOULD NOT BE EATEN.

Have Fun!!

  1. This is adorable, but I'm afraid the candy would be gone before it could get into the bouquet. Wishes for a sweet week!

  4. Too bad you can't eat the candy. Maybe having a little bag to the side of the roses would be a nice addition. Because, who can resist chocolate?

  6. This is cute! I would have ended up with a single bud in the vase, though! ha! Sorry I didn't get a chance to do Valentines this year!

  7. Very cute! The un-edible kind of chocolate is the only kind safe with me anyway..lol. I really like this idea! thanks for sharing! -Tammy p.s. "our" weather man is saying some rather disturbing things for later this week! :-o oh my!

  8. Hang in there Melinda! I started and got discouraged with the crocheting several times over two years before I finally figured it out. (I was determined!) Learning any new stitch is still complicated for me. You tube videos helped. So look for ones on casting on, that explain each little step along the way and go slowly to show you how. I still think I should sign up for a class, because I've never learned how to read a pattern and don't know the abbreviations for the stitches.
