At 6:20 this morning Winter returned with a Blast!
WE had thunder, lighting, wind and 12" of snow. THEN we had freezing rain, more snow at 5:00 with one more band coming through as I type this.
|
At 9:00 the snow began to fall and accumulate on everything.
|
At 9:13, the wind picked up and the snow began to blow!!
|
In the afternoon we had a bit of a break in the action but it began again just before 5:00 p.m.
|
More snow blowing around.

Here is the deck almost 12 hours from
the first picture taken.

Chili and cornbread sound perfect! Stay inside tomorrow and watch some good movies (or read blogs).
ReplyDeleteAnd I think that same system is heading toward Chicago!! Keep warm and safe.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
The snow is beautiful. We had rain this morning, but sunshine this afternoon. We already have some trees budding out.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and stay safe..
As I type this Melinda, I am looking outside at snow falling rapidly and accumulating just as fast. I don't think we will see spring for quite a while! Stay safe and enjoy the snow. Thank you for the thank you card! I just received it in the mail yesterday and showed my students. They loved it and were very proud.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 600th post. That's tenacity. We had a surprise snowstorm this week too, but probably only about half as much snowfall as what you got. Guess winter isn't over, drat.
ReplyDeleteHappy 600 and wishes for many more. Hope you are beginning to dig out. We still have some little patches of snow, but now it's days of cold rain. Not complaining! If the rain had been snow I'm not sure we would dig out until April.
ReplyDeleteHello! I recently just started a youtube Korean food channel, EasyKoreanFood, where you can learn how to make fast & easy Korean food! It would mean the world to me if you could check it out because I'm just starting out! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHappy 600th! How awesome! And I love your farm bench!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 600th post! That was some snowstorm, huh?!!! I think it was worse (driving wise) than yesterdays! At least, with yesterdays the plows could push it off and it wasn't blowing all around!
ReplyDeleteSchool tomorrow, I'm certain! My kids need it!
