Good morning friends:
It is going to be a HOT
one here today! YUCK!!
We are trying to get
stuff done before the
temprature rises too
much more. We also
have errands to run.
One being a trip to
Bath and Body Works
for the 75% annual
SALE!!! WooHoo!!
I stopped at the library
yesterday and loaded up
on goodies to look through
and read today, cause I
don't plan on being outside
this afternoon in the heat.
I'll just kick back and enjoy!
Lots of fun stuff here. :)
Of course, by my side will
be a glass or two OR more
of my fave beverage. ICED
TEA--lots of ice!
Stay cool if it is hot in your
neighorhood, have plenty of
YOUR fave beverages and
ENJOY the day!!

for a visit.

Have fun kicking back. I wish we'd get more warm weather here. Let me know which scrapbook style you are--my guess is either romantic or shabby-chic. (That's what I am--or eclectic.) But definitely not graphic or urban. I guess ultimately, I'm "Farm" or "Country."
ReplyDeleteOh, Melinda, I've been out working in the garden and I think I'm going to JOIN you! Whew!
ReplyDeleteIt's hot here too! I am so glad to see that I am not the only one that loves lots of ice!! Oh yes...for me, all my drinks have to have lots of ice, unless it's a hot drink...then I want it HOT.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that tea..
Sounds like you know how to beat the heat! Enjoy reading, sipping tea and relaxing!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I agree. Hot is icky.
ReplyDeleteThat glass of ice tea looks quite tempting!
It was hot yesterday! I was out doing backyard tours. Drank lots of ice tea when I got home though..love Country Living books and Mags.
ReplyDeleteThank you lord for the cool breezes today.
ReplyDeleteCome join our cause for Zoe, I deeply appreciate this.
TTFN ~
Hugs,
Marydon
It was a scorcher here in northern Kansas, too, today - 113 degrees! Thankfully we had a good stiff breeze all day. Your plans for dealing with it sound wonderful, and I hope you enjoyed your day!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you like nonfiction books also. I love to look at books. Well, I love books, period. I've going to the library with my granddaughter this week to pile up both of us with interesting books. I babysit for her while my daughter works nights. Anyway, it would be great if you listed the books names. I had to tilt the computer to see what the names of the books were. We have some super libraries around where I live in Connecticut and there is every reason I should go and take out a load of books. Uh,just one thing...remembering to bring them ALL back on time. I just paid off $20. on my $35. library fine yesterday. Oh, well, I tell my hubster that it would have cost him hundreds of dollars to pay for them. Am I right, am I right, or am I right?? (from Groundhog Day). ha ha Linda
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely cannot even IMAGINE 115 degree heat. we had 98 degrees last week and I just was WILTED!!!
