After visiting more with the
family it was time to head
home. On our way we stopped
in Stillwater (OK) for
dinner and a little shopping.
We love to go to Eskimo Joe's.
They are located one block east
of the campus of OSU.
Joe's is famous for their smiles
and burgers. They opened July
21, 1975 with mostly a bar
atmosphere then they expanded
to a restaurant venue.
Joe and Buffy---the logo was born
shortly after opening.
One tired boy waiting for his food.
Next door is Joe's store--this
is where you will find "the"
t-shirts that are reputed to
be one of the most collectible
in the country. After 34 years
those shirts have been seen
all over the globe. Mine will
be seen tomorrow at school
and Ken's will be seen soon.
Stop in if you are in the
neighborhood.
Another beautiful sunset in
Oklahoma and 4 more hours
on the road!!!
We had a wonderfully fun visit
with Cindy and the family. Our
goal of the visit was to surprise
Cindy for her birthday and I
think we did a great job!
Cindy's hubby kept the secret
really well to the point the
nieces and the nephew had no
idea we were coming either! Yea!
It's always good to go but it is
great when you get home too!!!
This is the last of the series, I hope
you have enjoyed the trip as much
as we did. If you missed part 1 or 2
just scroll down.
~Keep on Dreaming~

ReplyDeleteIt certainly is a nice feeling to be home after a long trip. How sweet of you and hubby to surprise his sister like that. Looks like a great trip. Loved the pix of the barn and the amazing sunset.
