Women's Tools
The article above is from the current
issue of ALL YOU. It is a wonderful
article on starting a tool box just
for YOU!
************************************
I just happen to have MY own tool
box that Mr. Ken started for me
several Christmas' ago. I picked
out the box so I could have all the
little spots for my tools. I love
having my own tool box, now I
don't have to truck downstairs
and find something in Ken's box.
The best part is that MY box lives
in my sewing room, so all I have to
do is walk down the hall to get
an item.
*********************************
The article recommends:
1. Hammer--lightweight
2. Screwdriver--A multibit
ratchet
3. Hardware--screws, nails,
eye hooks, cup hooks etc.
4. Adhesives--tapes, glues,
paper
5. Pliers--one with a comfy
grip on slip joint and needle
nose ones for twisting
6. Level--a 9-inch torpedo
level with a magnetic strip
7. Tape measure--A standard
25 foot model with 1/16- inch
fractions
8. Lightweight drill--a cordless,
8-volt lithium-ion device
9. Socket and Ratchet set--
Look for a set with standard and
metric measurements, plus
a high number of "teeth" for
strength and durability
10. My recommendation--
Sandpaper--different grades.
The lower the grit the rougher
it is.
Goggles probably would be a good
thing to have also.
The article also suggests checking
the Father's days sales for good
bargains.
**As you can see I have gathered
most of what they have suggested.
After reading the article, I looked
through my box and I am missing
a couple of things which I'll pick
up at a later date. But I do have
everything else.

I have my OWN tool drawer that NO ONE is allowed to touch without permission. Hubby's nickname is 'Mr. Stop & Drop It', lawdy knows where things end up with him.
