Last night Ken and I had
the pleasure of being
invited to a party for a
high school Graduate.
We have been able to
see this young man grow
into a wonderful young
adult. He happens to
have super parents!
Ken and Derrick's Dad
have been friends and
shared a house before
each of them went their
seperate ways. Randy
to marry and Ken to
move on to the next
phase of his life.
We had a great time at
the party. It was fun to
watch the kids spending
time together and be able
to reflect back to my own
graduation and party
afterwards at our home.
I told Ken today that it
is hard to believe that 30
years--yes, I said 30 have
gone by since I was in
high school. Oh, Boy!
I DON'T envy anyone
graduating now! I'll
stay right where I am
and continue growing up!
~Keep on Dreaming~
I'm with you, I'll stay right where I am as well!
ReplyDeleteBlessings on your day!
We are going to a graduation open house this afternoon, too. I can't believe that Danielle, who I remember being born...is now graduation from high school. Even worse...I can't believe that her parents are my age! ha!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna be the mom using the walker when my kids graduate from high school!
Congrats to the graduate! My youngest is going into 8th grade ( we've been going to the same school, sitting on the same parking lot for 16 years straight.) I know these next few years will fly by.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
