Brrrrrrr....The North Wind Doth Blow!!!

"Baby it's cold outside...."
"The weather outside is
Frightful..."
We are having a cold snap here
and it is FREEZING COLD!!!!
Yesterday it was almost 60
degrees and today it is 22 degrees!
The wind is whipping around the
house and the wind chimes are
singing their songs.
We have been to the store and have
goodies for a few of these cold days.
My plan for today is CHRISTMAS
decorating!!!!! The village is arriving
and the tinsel tree will arrive today or
tomorrow! Plus decorations. Pics will
be posted later.
Stay warm my friends and enjoy
the rest of your weekend!

  2. It's comin' my way. This mornin' started out 'round 49 while I was stocking the woodpile. The north wind has picked up and the temp is plummeting. Nasty!!!!! I'm wrappin' presents this afternoon and watchin' Hallmark Christmas movies.

Hunker down girl and have a blessed day deckin' the halls! :o)

  3. Tinsel tree?! Now I'm jealous! ;) I hear ya on the weather... it has definitely blown east over to us in MO. And it's very unpleasant to say the least! I'm decorating as well ~ now if someone would just come clean for me I'd be good! Can't wait to see your pics! -Tammy

  4. We've had the reverse. It was 20s during the week and now it's raining and in the 50s. Keeping cozy this morning and theater tickets this afternoon. Hope to get some more holiday decoration photos if it's not too rainy. Keep cozy!

  5. I love the red blog background!!! Very festive! It's 27 degrees here this morning with our first tiny snow flurries!! Wish it would really snow. No point in it being this cold if we don't get to see a little snow!! :-)
