I am sure most of us have this in
your cabinet or vanity.
Here are some other things we can
use this for.
1. Thread a needle:
Dip the end into the bottle, when
dry and stiff then you should be
able to easily thread that needle.
2. Safeguard costume jewelry:
Brush a layer inside a ring to
prevent your finger from turning
green.
3. Keeping tags neat and tidy:
"Paint" your tags on outdoor
items to keep them from
smudging.
4. Secure small screws:
Loose screws on your glasses?
Dab a bit on the screws to keep
them in place.
5. Seal those envelopes:
Instead of licking those nasty
labels, swipe a layer across the
flap and fold over sealing the
envelope.
~Did you know?
Nail enamel was first created
5,000 years ago in China?
Hope everyone is doing well.
Our stay at home order has been

though.

Good tips.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'm old enough that I remember us girls wearing hose or stockings, and clear nail polish would stop a run in a nylon quick as a blink!
~K.
Good point, I remember that too!

Happy Friday!

I have a ridiculous amount of nail polish, and I only wear one or two shades. Something else to clear out. Like Kerin, I remember using clear for pantyhose runs, too!
ReplyDeleteI keep collecting it too. Got rid of a bunch at a garage sale years ago, the gal was going to "paint" things with the ones she bought.

City is May 15th. Days change so fast that it is hard to keep up.

smart! I literally had the clear polish out the other day when I dropped a full can of cooking spray and it chipped my counter top. all that I do is color the chip in with a black sharpie marker and cover it with clear nail polish. works like a charm.
ReplyDeletestay safe my friend.
Well, look at you! So glad that it worked for you!
DeleteHope all is well with you and the fam, stay safe too, friend. ;)

Great ideas. I love the idea of sealing an envelope with nail polish. Take good care!
ReplyDeleteOh, me too. Do not like licking those things. Usually use a damp paper towel.
DeleteBe safe, friend.
