Hi!
Hope you are having a GREAT Thursday.
This is me above --calm, cool and quiet.
This has been me for the last few days. A
whirling top spinning around here 90 to
nothing.
Summer break is almost over and I have
so much left I would like to get accomplished. Yesterday I gave myself permission to STOP.
I realized that if I kept going at the pace I
was going, I would go back to school unhappy
and frustrated.
So I will do what I can and the rest will still
be there to work on another day. I do have
a couple of things that are "must dos", I'll
focus on them and finish my summer break
playing.
This school year promises to be vastly
different with new staff in our program (6)
and a very different schedule for the WHOLE building which we will be participating in.
Prayers would be appreciated for a smooth
start to this new year. Thanks!!
I will be MIA for a few days--enjoying the
last of my break and some some "young
man" in our house has a birthday coming
up next Monday.
Take care, stay cool and I will see you back
here soon. I will try to peek in and see what
is up with you though.
~Keep on Dreaming~
Good for you! Be sure to be kind to yourself!
ReplyDeleteLots of new things at our school, too; new staff, new schedules for paras, and new bell schedules. Plus, my best friend from school had the nerve to RETIRE, so I won't get to laugh with her throughout the day! Oh well..on ward, right? We got this!
Sounds like your year is going to be as busy as mine!
DeleteI hope we have it!!
Good Luck!

Melinda, you are wise to stop and take it easy before school starts! The more rested you are the better your school year will be! Best wishes!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are so right.

Hey, stranger, nice to hear from you! Good for you for knowing when to slow down. Enjoy the remaining break, I can't believe it's time for schools to start up again soon.
ReplyDeleteMe either, not really ready to go back.
DeleteThanks though!

Enjoy your last few days of freedom and try to relax! My little Lily started K+ today. I can't believe how fast she is growing up!

Going to bed now, it has been awhile since I was up at the crack of dawn.
