UNEMPLOYED
TERMINATED
FURLOUGHED
SHUTDOWN
These are words that I
have been hearing ALOT
over the last weeks and
months. I am having lunch
with a friend who I just found
out that has been terminated
from her job, because her
company didn't want to pay
for their insurance.
(She is a single Mom too.)
We know so many people
that are living this nightmare!
We have lived ourselves for
2 years and are still working
on getting a back to where
we were before Ken got laid
off!
I don't know the answer to
any of this except that
SOMEONE needs to get off
their rear and find a solution
to this soon this and it is not
fair!
Please say some prayers for
this whole situation!!

We need to do more than pray! Get in touch with your senators and representatives--both state and federal. Demand their attention and positive action.

I'm praying and agreeing with Mary and Bonnie. We went through major financial issues at work four years ago and the structural issues still haven't been addressed. I believe that once folks get elected they forget that there are real people that have to deal with the repercussions of what happens in Albany or Hartford or Washington, DC.
