A Seasonal/Thanksgiving Wreath
Here is a cute wreath to make.
It could be made for Fall,Thanks-
giving or anytime.
This was in the November 2012
Family Fun. They called it a
Wreath of Plenty.
~Start with a 12" styrofoam
wreath form.
~Wrap strips of fall fabric
around the form, securing
the fabric with ball-head
straight pins.
~Cut leaf shapes from card
stock, crease each leaf in
half for dimension. Attach
leaves to wreath with more
ball-head pins.
~To hang, add a loop of fabric
to the back of the wreath.
~Use light-colored gel pens
on dark paper.
The wreath in the magazine
had a "fun theme" to it.
Some of the things written
on the leaves were: family,
chocolate, parades, and ice
cream.
Other theme ideas: Fall,Thanks-
giving and Family. You could
combine all three too.
For Thanksgiving, you could have
the wreath form ready and each
guest could pick a leaf and
write something on it and then
attach it to the wreath. When
complete, you could hang it
up.
