Hi Everyone!
Stopping in the give you an update:
Ken will have two weeks under his belt
at the end of today! He is enjoying it
a lot. His boss and coworkers are very
easy to work with he says.
I have six more weeks of school left but
whose counting right???? Yesterday I
found out the two of my "harder"
students are moving upstairs next year.
We'll get two more with some challenges
but to a different degree than the two we
are losing.
Ken and I would like to express our
THANKS and love to everyone. Your
comments have meant a lot to us!
It is going to take some time for us to
fully get back to where we were BUT
we WILL do it! My friends-- YOU ARE
GREAT!!! Love you all.
I'll be back full time soon but will peak
in to see what you all are up to!
Happy weekend to you!
~Keep on Dreaming~
Six weeks until summer break? This year is flying by.
ReplyDeleteGlad Ken enjoys his new job. Happy Friday!
Melinda, I finally caught up and read your previous post. Oh my! I began blogging while my hubby was unemployed also. He was let go from a job he held for nearly 30 years in the automotive industry. Tough, it is! But I can honestly say some of those months were great ones for us. We survived, and enjoyed more time together. After 10 months he finally got a job (w/ Lowes). After 6 mos of that he realized retail schedule was not for him - even though he loved his job. Now he has a new job w/ the State. Completely different line of work, but the benefits are much better.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy for Ken. And for you. Bless you both, and especially bless YOU thru these last 6 weeks of school! Hugs, Tammy
I think this school year has gone by so quickly. My oldest is in college and my youngest is in 6th grade ~ I try so hard to keep the youngest YOUNG, and now.. 7th grade is already at our doorsteps. Sheeeeeeeeeesh!!

Hang in there sweetie, you'll get there! It's kinda like my Pappy Walden used to say,"what doesn't kill ya will only make ya stronger!" My prayers have been with you both. You DO take the summer off don't ya??? I sure had to use my summers to recoup. Take care.
