It's Here!---Sorta?

Happy Spring to EVERYONE!
The bunnies have arrived!

It's a sure sign that Spring AND
Easter are on it's way to the
Country Club Plaza here in Kansas
City, Missouri.

These bunny friends pay a special
visit each year..

All are dressed in their Easter finery.

Each one also has a name--Sue's
is on her basket. The gentlemen's
names are usually on their
platforms.

The bunnies are placed in
different spots on the Plaza each
year. They have been a Plaza
tradition for nearly eight decades!
We paid them a visit in 2010.
If you are ever here at Easter time
make sure you go to the Plaza
and visit the bunnies!
I hope the bunnies brought their
winter wear with them because we
are forcasted for SNOW from
Thursday to Sunday.

A Wee Bit O' Fun

 

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, 110
million people will celebrate the day
by wearing green, making an Irish
inspired meal or going out to dinner.

Green is associated with St. Patrick's
Day because it is the color of Spring,
of  Ireland and of the shamrock.

In Ireland, St. Patrick's Day is a
religious holiday.

The 1st St. Patrick's parade
was in Boston in 1737.

St. Patrick's Day is an enchanted time,
a day to begin transforming winter's
dreams into summer's magic.
