Sunday Savor has arrived!!
So pull up a chair and relax.
There is a tasty recipe ahead
and it comes with a twist!
Brownie Mix
1 C Sugar
1/2 C All Purpose Flour
1/3 C Cocoa
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
*Put mix in a zip lock baggie
or mason jar marked with the
next set of instructions.
(This would be the twist)
At BAKING TIME
Add: 2 Eggs
1/2 C Vegetable Oil
1 tsp. Vanilla
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25
mins in a 8 x 8 OR 9 x 9 pan.
Check after 12-15 mins.
Remove when brownies are
done. Let cool and ENJOY!!
**I did not see anywhere in
this recipe to grease the pan
bottom so I would say that
does not have to done before
pouring the mix into the pan.
You be the judge.
The thing I like about this
recipe is that you could make
up a bunch the dry ingredient
bags to have on hand for when
you are craving brownies.
You could also make up the
jars as gifts. (ie: Christmas
is coming)
Let me know if you make
these.

Good Wednesday evening!
Lot's happening here, so
let's get going, shall we?
Above is my new summer
do--a bit shorter than I
wear during the school
year. Light and airy and
easy to take care of.
I have been busy crafting,
I made four bracelets. The
two on the upper left are
mine and the the two on
the lower right are for a
friend's birthday. Lot's
of fun making these.
I made a skirt for myself
without a pattern. Several
years ago I made a similar
skirt.
This one has a slit in the
back, I wasn't sure if I
could do it but I did and
I love it!
Father's Day fun.
Selfie at a fountain.
I bought these letters a
couple of months ago,
thinking I would paint
them.
Instead of painting them I
covered them with scrap-
book paper. I chose a print
that has some of the colors
in our living room. When I
hang them up, I'll post a pic.
As most of you are doing
Summer has arrived with
heat. Our average temp
in June is 85 well this
June we have been in
the 90's and today we
hit 100! NOT impressed.
I do better "working my
way" into the HOT part
of Summer.
The heat has played a big
factor in my motivation to
get some things accomplished.
Hopefully it cools down
before it should really be hot.
Hope everyone in well and
staying cool!

Hello!!!
Well, it has officially arrived--Summer
is here! Although for the last couple
of weeks here in Eastern Kansas
it has felt like Summer already!
We have a busy week ahead,
see you on Wednesday!!
~Keep on Dreaming!
Wow! Is it Wednesday ALREADY?
Today we are talking GARAGE SALES.
See those two lovelies above? Well, hold
on tight because I purchased them for a
buck apiece--that's right $1 each! We
just happen to have cushion for the
seats but I will need to come up with
back cushions. Love them!!!
This little beauty is my new "deck buffet."
I have sprayed it with Poly once but I
am going to give it one more coat.
The bowl was a sale find, I filled it with
rocks I had--need a bit more and put one
of those gel fire starters in the middle.
The candle holder on the bottom will
have a candle on it when it is not so
blazing HOT outside. This little beaut
came to me for $ 3 buck a roos.
It will come in handy when we have
company or a party on the deck.
Woo Hoo!
More sale pics in the coming soon.
What have you been up to?

Good Afternoon Everyone, I
hope you are having a FAB
Sunday!
Sunday Savor has been dusted off
for it's Summer reappearance.
Today we have a fun party recipe,
great for those upcoming parties
everyone will be attending or
having in their backyard.
This was my Mom's "go to"
party treat AND it is sooo
easy!!
Ham Roll-Ups
Items needed:
1 pkg of Oscar Meyer
Ham (in the square yellow
pkg--about 20 slices)
2 pkgs of Cream Cheese
I used Garden Veggie and
Garlic with Red Peppers
Toothpicks
Take out a slice of ham, blot
with a paper towel spread
with the cream cheese, roll
it up and place seam side
down on a plate.
I was able to put cheese on
10 slices of ham for each
cheese flavor.
When finished rolling, place
them in the fridge covered
lightly with foil "to set."
Two hours or so before your
party, slice each roll into thirds,
placing the toothpicks in each
section before or after you slice
the roll into sections.
Arrange them on your plate or
tray and cover again. Serve
when ready.
Enjoy!!
****Note-- I used different
colored toothpicks for each
cheese flavor.If you only use
one flavor use non-colored
toothpicks.
I also made a small note saying
what the flavors were ie: green
and blue Garden Veggie and
placed it by my plate.

Hello All!
Hope this Wednesday finds you well.
Today is "Best Friends Day" and I would
like to wish ALL my friends near and
far a good day!
I love each of you and couldn't get
along without you!
Well, last Saturday was a big day
for a special lady and her family.
Ken and I were invited to this
lovely venue for her wedding!
This is the Thompson Barn, it
has changed drastically over
the last 50 +++ years.
Our lovely city has turned it
into the MOST sought after
venue for weddings in the city.
Brides must reserve it a year in
advance in order to secure it for
their big day!
Upon arrival guests were greeted
with the chalkboard and picture
table. Loved the pictures!
This would be the inside of the
barn. The restoration work is
AMAZING!
Chairs were set up for the ceremony
on the second floor of the barn.
I'm going to call the theme for this
wedding feminine with a rustic touch
here and there. This beautiful wreath
was hanging on the doors in the front.
During the cocktail hour and while
other pictures were being taken,
ceremony area turned into the
dining and dancing area.
this was our table. Pretty glass
bowl with floating candles and
greenery. If you look closely
or biggie the pic, you will see
the small carved gourds by the
champagne flutes. The groom's
mother worked in Peru for four
years and knows the couple who
carved them. Each one has a
ribbon with the date and their
names on it.
Here is the beautiful bride with her
family. Dad, Mom and brother.
Their first dance as husband
and wife.
A beautiful cake. I love the topper,
it was cut out of wood!
The bride and groom are outdoors
people( ie: hunting, fishing etc.) so
I thought it was a fitting topper for
them.
When trying to figure out their
gift, I ran into a wall...everything
on their registry was already
purchased and I am not too hep
on getting something from there
anyway. Soo after a discussion
with my friend, the Mother of the
bride I decide to make another jar.
I made a Honeymoon jar. I heard
from the bride the next day "we
loved your gift!"
A wedding selfie.
It was a beautiful evening
for a lovely couple. We
wish them many years
of HAPPINESS!!
~~~~
Garage sales are all over the
place and I have been to a
few as soon as I can I will
post pics of my treasures.
~Keep on Dreaming~
Hello! Everyone!!
I hope this post finds you doing well.
Today all the neighborhoods were
having garage sales. I hit a few this
morning and early afternoon. Very
happy with all my goodies which by
the way are still in my car. As soon
as soon I get things organized I will
post some pics of my loot.
Tonight we are having dinner with
some friends and tomorrow is the
BIG wedding of our good friend's
daughter! We are so looking
forward to this big event!!
Sunday will find us dead tired and
playing "catch up."
Big plans for your weekend?
Enjoy!
