P is for...

P is for...

Can you guess?

PUMPKINS!

Each year we stop at Faulkner's
Pumpkin Farm on our way back
from the Barn Sale. It is a great
place.

Big ones, little ones.

Tall ones, flat ones.

White ones.

GREAT BIG GIGANTIC
ones.

P is for...

Popcorn

Movie popcorn, microwave
popcorn, air popped, and stove
top popped. In addition to these
you can dress up these little
kernels for a party by adding:

Carmel and Chocolate
drizzle with peanut butter
cups.

Sprinkle with White Cheddar
Cheese.

Bacon-pop corn is bacon grease
and sprinkle with cooked bacon.

Thanksgiving corn-Pour maple
on maple syrup and add walnuts.

Garlic Parmesean-Use garlic infused
oil and sprinkle with cheese.

Nothing traditional about those!

P is for...

Pie

Specifically pumpkin.

Not so much a fan of
this pie but I know it
is a fave and a tradition
at this time of year.

P is for...

Playoffs--Baseball

We are so excited here in
the Kansas city Metro area
that our boys in blue are in
the playoffs this year!

Game one against Baltimore
tonight!

Let's Go Royals!!!!!!

Nothing for Q next up will be R
probably on Monday, we have a
busy weekend ahead of us.

  1. Hi Melinda! P is for SO MUCH GOOD STUFF in the Fall. :-) It can even make me like autumn. Almost. (wink wink). Love the popcorn ideas -- I am having a "snacky" day -- resisting but it's hard!
Don't you love the squatty pumpkins? Hard to find around here this year.
Have a glorious Friday, girl.... Cass

  7. No, No, Let's Go Cards!! Lol.. Love popcorn but it is so expensive at the movies. We splurge and get it every once in awhile. My dh did not have much luck growing
pumpkins this year. :( So we had to buy them.
