Thinking Outloud

Good Afternoon!

Lots of thinking has been happening 
here and I wished it was as serene as 
the picture above!

Maybe you wise folks in blogland can 
help a friend with her thoughts.

1. Do I change jobs after 15 years?
An opportunity has been placed in 
my hands, something I have wanted 
for a long time-but there is a big ? I 
won't go into it...but I will say the 
big ? goes along with the offer. Last 
year was HORRIBLE and I feel that 
this opportunity has come at a great 
time.
BUT... what to do? Sorry to be so 
vague.

2. Mr. Ken has had a HUGE Gout 
flare-up with several visits to the Dr. 
Lots of projects are on hold now until 
we can get Mr. back to being 100 % and
that is so frustrating for both of us.
This particular bout has been harder to 
get rid of and my husband is NOT at all 
patient when he doesn't feel good. He 
IS getting there but it is a very slow 
process.

3. What is up in Blogland?
Is blogging going bye bye?
Is it because it is Summer?
Is it because of  Facebook
or Pinterest?

I have seen readership go down and 
comments too.  I have looked at some 
of the more "popular" blogs too and 
they don't have the comments they 
used to. Maybe people are just
popping in and out instead of leaving
comments.

I love to see comments, I enjoy connecting
with everyone that way. Oh well...Thanks
for listening!!

That's what's in my head this week. It's 
kinda like that new Pixar movie coming 
out with all the characters in your head.

Thinking Out Loud

Welcome to Thursday Thoughts 
sometimes trading off with Trivia.

So my thought for today will be 
obvious to most across the country 

BUT---

I AM SOOO TIRED OF THE RAIN!!

We have managed to squeak by with 
only having to yank out the rest of 
the carpet in the family room and 
then put a fan on the wet area. Mild, 
I know compared to what others are 
experiencing. But...

The rain could come back in July.

This is what I really want to see!!
Some sun!!!  I would be in a 
much better mood too. No mojo 
with all this dreary weather.

Well, I think I have ranted 
enough--

We Made It!!

These five day weeks are
HARD! The last two weeks
we had snow days making
our weeks short.

So as the picture says:
T G I F!!!

That is my thought on
things!

Oh Momma!!!

   

Storm number two arrived on Tuesday am.
This was AFTER we got snow last Thursday and Friday. Storm one brought around 12 inches and number two brought around 8 inches. As you can see this storm
brought a heavy wet snow.
 

That would be Ken's car under all that
snow AND the tree limb. A neighbor came
over to let us know about the tree limb.

 

The stuff stuck to EVERYTHING!
 

Remember this guy from the last storm?
Well, Mother Nature felt he needed a bit
more snow this go around.
 



A birdfeeeder wears a festive winter hat.
That's a clothesline at the top left sagging
under the weight of the snow.
 



A look out the guest room window.
 

The bush looks like a bag of BIG
Gigantic cotton balls was dumped
on it.
 

Remnants of storms one and two.
This is on the west side of the driveway.
 

Here is "Nanook of the Midwest" getting
ready to dig us out for  the second time.

These are my Valentine's for
my kids at school. Each of the
kids got a bottle of bubbles--
these are quite popular in my 
class!
I put them in "coffee bags"
that I had stashed away. They
were just the right size too!
