Fun Fall Recipe

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well!

We took a short trip Sunday to our local
Cider Mill. We picked up some apples, a
yellow pumpkin and some candy corn.

Later that day I was able to get to one of
my favorite Antique store. It is in an old
school so a lot of the rooms are used by
different vendors. One of the things I
collect are the Gooseberry Hardback
Cookbooks. One of  the vendors had
five for sale, the one I picked up was
Country Quick and EasyAs I was
looking through it, I found a
"quick" and short recipe for:

Carmel Apple-Dip

8 oz. pkg, cream cheese,
softened
1/4 C honey
1/2 C caramel ice cream topping
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 to 4 green apples*, cored and
sliced.

In a medium serving bowl, combine
cream cheese, honey, caramel topping
and cinnamon; beat until smooth. Store
in refrigerator until chilled. Serve with
apple slices.

Makes 2 cups

*I would use different apples, green apples
are not my fave.

Enjoy!

Seasons Are A Changn'

Well friends, we have made it through
another season in this crazy time we are
in. It will look different I'm sure but
hoping to do a couple of "normal"
activities.

Do you have any Fall plans? Activities,
decorating, food prep etc?

On anther note, we are still working on
the Kitchen project, though school is kickn'
my rear right now, Mr. Ken has done some-
thing to his shoulder, appt tomorrow and life
has jumped in and things need to be tended to.

Hope everyone is well and safe. Take Care!💖

A Little Decor Change

Hello!

Sometime ago I bought some letters from
Hobby Lobby--H, M and E. As you can
see they were white. I painted them black.

After they dried and yes sat around several
days, I finally got them hung up in our entry
way. The "O" is a wreath that was used at
our Vow Renewal around our memory candle.
I really like the pop of black off the wall. The
wall had been bare since the holidays and I
wanted something a little more permanent
for the space.

Wishing everyone a bit of peace.

Thursday

Hello!

Last Friday we took our annual trip to
the Sunflower Farm--Grinter Farms.
A bit different this year but everyone was
minding their P's and Q's. It was a great
evening for our trip.

Look closely and you will see Mr. Ken
hanging out.

The field we went to this year was next to a
corn field. The corn didn't look to good, we
thought it might be feed corn.

As usual, a fun trip and a bit of "normal" to
our lives.

Sunday Funday

Good Morning!

Hope everyone is doing well.

Bet you can't tell by the pic above
what this post is about.😀

If you guessed painting. Ding, ding
you win the prize.

We are still working n our kitchen project,
with school starting, it has slowed down a
bit. But to catch everyone up...

Wallpaper GONE!
Walls sanded and primed
Walls painted-upper and lower walls
Ceiling painted--yesterday
Trim started yesterday
Wainscotting will be added also
Need to do some touching up
and a million more things but we are
getting there.

The halls will be waiting for Thanksgiving
break as they are low on "The to do list."
Since we had to change paint courses, I am
so pleased with how it is coming along.

On another note...first week of school under
my belt. So much to learn, my brain was so
tired by Friday. I get to se my kids Tuesday!!
More Do's and Don'ts I'm sure but we will
do the best we can.

Enjoy the rest of the unofficial end of
Summer weekend. It will turn chilly here
later in the week.
