with The Opening Ceremony!
 July 27-August 12th. That is
seventeen days of spectacular
events featuring more than 200 
nations participating in 32 events.
That means there are A LOT of 
young people running around London. 
We have several athletes from KC 
competing in the events. YEA!

It will be nice to watch something good on tv for a change! I'm sure it's going to be too hot to be outside this weekend, we'll be tuned in by the AC!

ReplyDeleteI only watched up to the part where the queen was on. That was too funny!!! I recorded it so J and I could watch together when he gets home :) He really enjoys the opening ceremonies.

Great post! Enjoyed the opening ceremony sooo much, although I think a lot of people didnt quite 'get it'. Us Brits dont take ourselves too seriously! Hope you enjoy the Games, I will think of you watching! Our eldest son is a volunteer chauffeur for the duration of the Games, giving up his annual holiday to work there!
