Spending Time with Friends

How do you have fun on $2? Well, you grab a couple of friends and go to the 25th annual Lenexa Chili Challenge in Old Town Lenexa. For $2 you get a plastic wrapped spoon which you unwrap and then you go to as many booths as you can handle and sample chili made by the different competitors. Some of booths did Salsa instead of chili. There was somewhere around 100 booths to sample from!!! This was the "greeter" at one of the booths!
Some of the competitors. Check out
the head bobbers on the woman
in the black shirt! This was a cute
booth.
Taking a break!
Even though we decided that
we were all finished "the boys"
had to have one more taste!
A beautiful Fall Saturday and
tasty goodness to boot.

  3. That does look like fun. Glad you all had a great time. Our town does something similar but I don't think for $2.

  5. This would be fun. I could have fun with 2.00 at our street fair. It might only be a fresh lemonade, but on a sunny fall day, that is a lot of fun.
