Leftovers

It's BACK!!!! Sunday Savor ************** Today we have a really easy recipe for soup/stew to enjoy. So pull up a chair and relax. ***************************** Vegetable Soup/Stew **from my kitchen** 1 lb of stew meat 2 small cans of tomato sauce-no salt added Seasoning of your choice- I used McCormick's Salt Free Garlic and Herb 6-8 new potatoes 6-8 baby carrots cut in half 3/4 pkg of frozen corn 1 can of green beans-50% less salt 1 small can of sweet peas Cook meat in a medium boil until slightly tender. Add tomato sauce to the pan-- Cook for a minute or two so flavors start to blend. Use your seasoning at this time or when you begin cooking the meat. Clean, cut up and add the potatoes to the pot, cook until midway tender. Add the carrots and corn. Bring to a slight boil and let cook till carrots are slightly tender and the corn has had time to thaw and cook. When everything has melded together add the beans and peas. When these finish cooking serve and enjoy!
Yum!!!---leftovers for lunch.

  1. It's certainly stew weather around here. I'm picturing this with some cornbread on the side!
