Keys

Today on Misc. Monday:

What else can you do with Keys??

1. Make curtain weights--
Sew or tape keys into the bottom
hem of lightweight curtains that
hand near a vent or busy door.

2. Use as a shim--
Steady a wobbly table or night-
stand by sliding a key under the
short leg.

3. Donate them--
The nonprofit organization
Key for Hope (keyforhope.org)
uses the proceeds from the sale
of scrap metal to help support a
food pantry of your choice.

4. Open bottles--
Hold the neck of the soda or
beer bottle firmly with one
hand. Use the ridged side of
a key to gently pry up the
edges of the cap until it pops
off.

5. Clean shoe/boots treads--
Use a key to clean out hard to
reach spaces on your shoes or
boots.

Did you know?

Harry Houdini was a lock-
smith before becoming a
magician.
