Party Decorating for Little or Nothing and THE GAME
Yesterday was GAME DAY and our friends Dan and Nancy (Acorn Cottage) came over .In order to get ready for ourfun, I did an inventory of partydecorations and paper goods saved from previous parties and activities. I tried to useas many things I already had.Above you will see (top rightaround the table) red dinnerplates, football napkins, red cups, foam football cutouts, confetti, football snack dishes, white plastic forks, red siliconecups and in the the middle are football cutouts to hang up.When I buy these type of itemsI ALWAYS save anything that isleftover--one never knows whenthey will need it. This way I hopefully don't have to buy anything for the next party or event. These are then stored in a sparecloset for the next use.The items above are the onlythings I bought. Out of all thetablecovers that I have I didnot have a white one---go figure. Total spent $3.00. :)THE GAME---getting readyfor the appetizers.THE PICKS---I have had this chalkboard since I was a little girl!THE TABLE---before.Here is a peek at the confetti.THE TABLE---after it is laden with round one food. There was a mishap withround two so no pics. Losta pizza in the oven! :(THE WINNERS!
What fun you all must have had! You must be related to my daughter in some way!! With my son-in-law being the athletic director, Trista is the host to a lot of sports get-togethers...she saves all left over party supplies and is always looking for a bargain on napkins, cups and plates... Glad you all had a great evening..
You all always have so much fun when you get together! That what friends are for! I haven't seen Nancy post in a long time. Please send hugs her way for me. Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
Thanks for coming over to visit my blog. Yours is great! I am like you, I save left over party supplies to use for future parties. It sure is nice to walk to the closet and pull out supplies instead of going to the store and spending lots of money! Carla
