Whirlwind Weekend

This is where we had lunch. It is located in Wichita, Ks. We were on our way to Oklahoma. Edmond to be exact. This is an old service station. Complete with car bays, service areas and lots of other fun stuff. Historic Marker. An old oil changing bay - now filled with beers and lit up. Great fun! Mr. Ken and his new friend. :) Tummies filled and ready to get back on the road.
We have arrived in Edmond, Ok.
to surprise this lady. This is Ken's
sister and it was her 50th birthday!
We decided to drive down for the
weekend and surprise her!!!
This is her reaction!!! She couldn't
believe that we would drive 5 hrs.
to help celebrate her day! What fun!!!!
To be continued....

  3. Hi Melinda, I've been reading about all your fun adventures. It made me think I should post some of my own. Soon as I'm able. The great news for me is that as of 2 weeks ago, I'm now working only 4 days/week. WooHoo! When things settle down (or do they ever?), I plan to start blogging again regularly.
