V is for...

V is for...Veggies
From the garden that is.
We have enjoyed :
Radishes
Onions-Red and White
Leaf Lettuce
Cherry Tomatoes
Jalapeno and Serrano
Peppers
Corn on the Cob
Potatoes-Yukon gold
and Red
Our neighbor girl has
her own veggie stand and
we buy cucumbers and
tomatoes from her at rock
bottom prices! We also
bought a giant Zucchini
from her.
Our garden is pretty much
finished for now--Ken still
has peppers and the tomatoes
will keep coming. Salsa any-
one? This year's garden was
much more productive than
last year's and Farmer Ken is
a happy boy!

  1. There is nothing like having fresh summer time veggies from your own garden. We only planted two tomotoe plants and the baby pumpkins this year. The pumpkins are on the deck and doing great.
    Happy Friday!

  3. Ours came in while gone on trip, but neighbors gathered the bounty, which we are now enjoying. Nothing like something from the garden ...

    Happy PS weekend ~

  6. I look forward to the day when I have time for gardening again. It's such a wonderful thing to do--feeling the warm earth sift through your toes, gazing at beautiful flowers, and eating the bounty. All good. Have a wonderful blog break.

Glad you're enjoying your Kindle for PC. I love mine so much, I'm seriously considering buying a Kindle, or a Nook. If you want to check out free e-books from a local library, and they have a subscription to OVERDRIVE, then the Nook is the one to buy.
