Food and Fun

Sunday Savor:
Here's an easy recipe for
you to enjoy. So pull up a
chair and relax!
**************************
Easy BBQ Pork
From my Kitchen
5 boneless pork chops
Seasoning for the chops
(your choice)
Water
BBQ Sauce--your choice
*************************
In a large skillet, place
chops--cover with
water and seasoning.
Simmer on med/high for
approx. 2 hours, turning
every half hour. After the
2 hours check for tenderness.
If tender remove from pan,
let set to cool them shred all
the chops. Set aside.
Empty water from pan, put your
sauce and the shredded chops
back in the pan and let simmer
for 1 1/2-2 hours on med/low heat
stirring occasionally. Turn off
heat 10 minutes before serving
and let it rest.
Enjoy on buns or bread!

On another food note:
Last night Mr. Ken and I
shared a delightful meal
at a local Italian Restaurant
with our good friends Dan
and Nancy. (Acorn Cottage)
Each of us enjoyed a splendid
authentic Italian dinner! It
was delish!!!!

  4. I've enjoyed these sandwiches at other's homes before but can you believe I've never made them myself?

I'm looking forward to giving this a go. Maybe tonight...

    Blessings, Debbie

  5. I just love these recipes that are easy enough for me to make. My husband loves pulled pork sandwiches and I never knew (or thought to find a recipe) how to make them.
