Hello! We resume our regular
As most of you know I spent the month
of April participating in the A-Z Blogging
My theme this year was Famous Women.
If you missed it just scroll backwards from
this post and you can catch up on that .
Believe me it was a challenge!
Early in April we hopped on down to the
Country Club Plaza in Kansas City and
looked at the Bunnies. We do this every
year but our tag team was missing this
year so Mr. Ken and I went on our own.
Pretty flowers along our way.
Some of the bunnies were decked out
in KC Royals gear. Such fun!
These tulips fascinated me so much!
Mr. is decked out here with his jersey and fancy
Trying really hard to support our
boys in blue. They are having a
tough time right now but they
won last night!
One project complete for now!!
I found this on the side of the
street at a neighbor's house.
I brought it home and it has
been in our garage since.
We finally had some time to
haul it upstairs to our landing
behind our front door.
I wanted it to corral all of our winter
scarves, gloves and mittens. Because I
have a ton! I used the photo boxes
that you see at Michael's and
JoAnn's to hold them. I need a couple
of more though.
Covered the top with scrapbook paper to
pretty it up a bit. Still "shopping the house"
for things to dress up the top.
Above it on the wall, I have pegboard that
I need to incorporate with the cabinet.
Easter dinner was a quite affair for Mr. Ken
and I, the majority of the family were busy
with their own activities.
Toward the end of April, Mr. Ken
and I joined own family in this
beautiful old church for the
wedding of our niece. Very low key
affair but nice.
The newly married couple.
A very beautiful cake.
Happy Aunt and a happy bride!
Besides ALL those fun things, we have
had weird weather like the rest of you,
Mr. Ken is busy at work ie: LOTS
going on, he is feeling good, early next
week he goes in for a scan to see how
he is doing.
School is almost OVER and I cannot
wait!! It has not been a bad year but the
last couple of months have been LONG!
That's about it here, for now. I hope
everyone is doing fine.
~Keep on Dreaming~
Super cute bunnies! Looks like a fun trip!!ReplyDelete
Darling niece! Sending congrats to the happy couple.
I think I missed reading about your hubby's health. What kind of scan does he need??
Sending 'good luck' wishes your way for his good health!
I'll tell them you said Congrats!Delete
Ken gave us a scare in January.
I don't think I went to great detail on the blog though.
I'll just say that it was pretty serious. I am not trying to be vague but Ken didn't want everything splatterd on the blog.
Thanks for the "good luck" wishes, I'll pass them on to him.

Oh the bride looks so pretty, love her dress and great photo of the two of you. Great job on the cabinet. I throw all of our stuff in the bottom of the stands that hold the washer and dryer. Dear Hubby still can't get used to were they are now.ReplyDelete
Thanks, I am still looking for a couple of things--I did add a couple of things though.Delete
It's always good to keep the hubbies guessing. :)
Like your new background, Melinda! And what a pretty bride! You look very proud beside her! Great that Mr. Ken is feeling good. Good luck to KC, but you know I'm a Cubs fan! 😉ReplyDelete
I like my background too, looks pretty for Spring.Delete
KC has a way to go. Good Luck to the Cubbies.

Cute baseball bunnies. The Rockies have started off with a bang this year. . . but it's only May, so I'm not holding my breath. It's nice to watch the games again. Beautiful bride, and a lovely picture of the two of you.ReplyDelete
I do enjoy a good game. Hopefully KC can turn their season around!Delete
Thanks for the compliment.

Best wishes to the bride and groom; may they be blessed with much happiness. Love the baseball bunnies; what gorgeous flowers. What a good find with the cabinet! How did you attach the scrapbook paper to the top?ReplyDelete
Thank you for the happiness wishes.Delete
My cabinet is doing a great job.
I used spray adhesive to apply it on top.
PS: It is soo good to see you again, hope everything is ok.

Thirty three school days left for us!!ReplyDelete
Good gravy, if we had 33 more days, I would be a raving lunatic! Our last day is the 19th and that is too many days.
