Fast Changes

I have had three
shirts for awhile
but did not wear
them because I
felt the V-neck was
a bit low for school.
So they hung in the
closet.

One afternoon, my
lightbulb went off
and I thought-why
not add a panel to
the V ?
I made a pattern
(white paper) and
then cut out a panel
from the coordinating
fabric that I found at
Joann's.

Using coordinating
embroidery floss
(2 strands), I tacked
the corners down and
then reinforced any
gaps with hem tape.
Since doing this little
project, I have worn
the purple and the
orange one.
Once I got going, it
was easy peasy.

~Keep on Dreaming~

P. S. Would my new
Follower let me know
who you are? Thanks!

    1. Yes, it is like having three new shirts since I
am wearing them now and they are not hanging
      in my closet.

      Thanks!

  4. I had that same problem when I worked at the library. Children's librarian, you know? I don't like showing cleavage in almost any situation, but least of all in that environment.

Your idea is great! But I also found a similar idea once at Walmart in the "As seen on TV." I bought three inserts--white, black, and beige, that hook around your bra straps and you get the same effect. Or close to it.

    1. Those would have worked also but Ilike the coordinating fabric better.

Hope your trip is going well.
