A Trip Down Memory Lane

I was shopping at one of my favorite stores last Monday when I came upon this delightful little ditty! I was sooo excited when I saw this loom. I had one of these when I was little but it got lost along the way, but now I have a new one. Let me back up a little and say this particular store carries gently "pre owned " items. I wouldn't call it a thrift store but I guess it could be. The proceeds from the sales go to Big Brothers and Sisters.
Inside the box (which had NEVER been opened) was
a loom in a bag, some beads for bling and the loops for
weaving. These loops are nylon as opposed to cotton
like my old ones.
The best thing about my new toy is that it only cost $2.99
plus tax as you can see by my photo. How exciting is that!
When I get one finished I'll show it to you.
Did anyone else have one of these???

  6. Hello. Just found you on Elizabeth's blog and was intrigued by the name of your blog. Love the potholder find. I made those as a child and sold them door-to-door to neighbors who were always willing to be a customer. Thanks for sharing! Come visit me at my blog if you have a chance.
    Best,

  9. I love kid's crafts. My son had one of these and I cherish the potholders he made for me. I wonder, is there anything else you can make besides potholders?
