Flower Power

**The rose is the best known symbol
of beauty and love.
**The bluebonnet became the
state flower of Texas in 1901.
**A single rose signifies simplicity.
**Tulip bulbs can be used in place
of onions for cooking.
**California is the source for nearly
60% of all USA grown fresh cut
flowers.
**The spice--Saffron comes from a
type of Crocus.
**My favorite flowers for Spring
are Geraniums, Begonias,
Wildflowers, Marigolds-
I have too many more to
list.
What are yours????

  3. Tulip bulbs are apparently safe when cooked. But poisonous when raw!! I've heard they do not taste good though. I have never tried them.
