Last night Mr. Ken was
busy in our smallest
bedroom which we call
"the sitting room," trying
to get the printer to print.
He decided to take the
color cartridge out and
shake it, thinking that
would make the ink work
better since it was pretty
much empty.
He asked me to come back
to the room--he wanted to
show me "something." The
picture above is similiar to
what I saw on the bed skirt,
the comforter (day bed),
room carpeting and many
more items in the room.
Luckily the walls were
spared!
Sooooo our day was spent
washing bed linens--most
of the ink came out,
shelves and anything else
that we could find ink on.
Then... we had to put
eveything back and
remake the bed.
Of course, one project
leads to another causing
interruption to the project
at hand which I find quite
annoying. Why does this
occur???
All of this leads to...
NEVER SHAKE A PRINTER
CARTRIDGE--GET A NEW
ONE INSTEAD!!!! Especially
when your bedskirt is white
and your comforter is purple,
green and white.
~Keep on Dreaming~
As soon as I read that "he decided to shake it", I got a sinking feeling in my stomach. Thank goodness it washed out!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! Well, if you were in for a makeover in that room, Ken sure helped out!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo, glad it came out :)
xo, misha
I am so glad you were able to get most of the ink out. I've done some very similar things, but one thing I've learned is to be very careful in shaking things. Have had some unfortunate experiences with bottles of soda. Here's hopes for an uneventful rest of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh my! So sorry... Thank goodness it missed the walls! Hope the rest of the weekend was restful!
ReplyDeleteHi Melinda, Just wanted to say thanks for all your well wishes, I really appreciate it. Simone xx
ReplyDeleteThat brought the vision of that staples commercial except the guy shakes the whole printer! Luckily it came out! Traci
ReplyDeleteOh girl....I'm so sorry! I keep a spare in the drawer of the computer armoire, I'm twisted like that! Heeehehehe!
ReplyDeleteI once dropped a can of paint from the top of a ladder on my 'oatmeal' dinning room carpet, and it splattered...everywhere.
I hope everything came out for ya!
God bless ya and have a marvelous day my friend!!!
Just think Jackson Pollock!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
