Out with the Old and In with the New

Well, here we are at the end of another
year.
Before we begin the new year, I wanted
to posta bit about our holiday season.

We started on thanksgiving by going to
the Country Club Plaza for the lighting
ceremony.

Magic Tree in a neighboring city.

Last Sunday, we went to Union Station
in Kansas City to see all the holiday
decorations.

Christmas jammies.

2018 Presidential ornament. Love these!

One of our beautiful parks all lit up!

Christmas decorations.

One of my friends made these signs. You
can't see it too well but the tree has lights
that light up. Going to have a tough time
putting this one away!

Had fun with the Jingle Bells this season.

Finally, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy
New Year! Looking forward to 2019 and
hoping for great things to come.

Be safe and I'll see you in 2019!

  1. It looks like you had a lot of fun visiting some great displays, and I love seeing all of your Christmas decorations. The long handled silver bell is so festive with the red jingle bells. And the birds with your cookbooks is so homey. Happy New Year!

  2. Yes we did! We love going here and there.
Thanks for the nice thoughts on my decorations. My little birds are S&P shakers from Cracker Barrell this year.
I bought the bell last Christmas and thought the little bell wreath worked
    well on it.

    Happy New Year!

December is a hard month for me and
so having mojo to enjoy the season is hard.

Happy 2019 to you and your family.
